Responsibilities
- Handle scheduling conflicts that might arise for customer orders
- Participate in meetings to discuss production problems that have arisen or are anticipated
- Monitor raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventories
- Evaluate short term resource loads and assist with long term planning with Accounting and Sales
- Make recommendations on resource substitution, as appropriate and within engineering and quality limitations
- Work with department supervisors in the implementation of resource allocations
- Make proper adjustments to the scheduling software as current dynamics dictate
- Coordinate effort of multiple departments to resolve logistical issues
- Manage shipping/receiving, inventory analyst, and inventory coordinator functions
- Prepare reports
- Perform other tasks as required
- Follow and enforce applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of operations management, practices, and procedures
- 3 years of experience in a related field
- Strong communication skillls (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership skills
- JDE experience preferred
