Responsibilities
- Inspects finished product quality before performing operations.
- Operates controls for perforation robot cell. Monitors robot/perforator operations.
- Complete operation to specifications.
- Assembles/stacks rolls per customer/in-house requirements.
- Obtains packaging material to complete order and prepare for shipment.
- Completes quality control procedures including roll unwind, perforation inspection, diameter inspection, perforation centering, and perforation alignment
- Operates lift truck vehicle to transport materials.
- Operates pallet jack and stacker lift to transport materials
- Completes all recordkeeping requirements including printing, labeling, stretch-wrapping
- May participate in equipment set-up.
- Uses JD Edwards scanning equipment to log production and record inventory transactions
- Performs housekeeping duties to maintain work area based on hygiene requirement
- Sets up cutter to product specifications.
- Operate lifting mechanism or device to position materials
- Ensure accuracy and maintain quality according to work order specification
- Complete other operations/responsibilities highlighted above.
- Provide assistance to operator(s) when running particular products.
OCCASIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Successfully cross trained to provide fill-in support for extruder and/or pelletizer.
- Completes all work in a safe manner
- Follows all safety rules.
- Complies with operating procedures and quality standards.
WORK SCHEDULE: 12 hours generally assigned to a standard shift – schedules may vary depending on production and manning needs.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience :
High school education; or up to three month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills :
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Use/understanding of measurements.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic PC skill, commands, functions, and applications.
