As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be part of our Automation team, assisting with performing all automation/robot repairs, PM's and maintenance as needed. You will work daily troubleshooting electromechanical systems, and general and specific knowledge of PLC's, HMI's, servos, drives, PC troubleshooting and mechanical troubleshooting is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Keep automation operational, providing general shop floor support for automation equipment once training is complete
* Support production floor by answering emergency equipment down requests
* Assist in rebuilding equipment as time allows, during periods of extended, planned downtime
* Perform preventative maintenance on all automation equipment and cleaning of automation equipment
* Complete Lockout Tagout training
* Understand the importance of food safety, ISO and plant safety policies and act as an example to other employees after being properly trained
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of direct experience with electromechanical systems strongly preferred
* Experience with PLC's, HMI's, servos, drives, PC troubleshooting and mechanical troubleshooting strongly preferred
* Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical prints, understand components and systems strongly preferred
