Responsibilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Technical skills and ability to understand prints (including GD&T dimensioning), documents, and manuals.
- Demonstrated understanding of principles for product and process quality evaluation and control.
- Ability to follow inspection plans.
- Ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices.
- Ability to use inspection equipment (calipers, drop indicators, force gauges, micrometers, and CMM systems etc.).
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe).
- Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations (ISO, GMP, & safety).
- Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to further knowledge through training courses (internal or external).
- Customer-focused.
- Develop, apply, analyze, and test inspection procedures.
- Corrective and preventive action analysis through a team approach.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years plastics experience.
- 2 years quality/metrology experience.
Preferences:
- OGP and/or Zeiss Programing.
- Document Control knowledge.
- Calibration experience.
- Ability to train.
- Minitab knowledge.
- Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
- ISO Internal Auditor Certification.
