As a Material Handler Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and reporting safety concerns through near misses and observations
- Maintaining a clean working area and adhering to ISO, GMP, and Food Safety requirements
- Assisting in breaking down empty gaylords and maintaining the baler
- Performing other functions as necessary or as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills to read Standard English text for requirements on packlists and communicate with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
- Able to use simple math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide to determine material calculations
