At BerryDunn, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled employees in a dynamic team environment, working on cutting-edge technologies and projects. This full-time position is based at our Portland, ME headquarters, and reports to the Service Desk Manager.
You Will
The hourly rate targeted for this role is $22 to $25 per hour. This hourly rate represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final hourly rate range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.

This full-time position is based at our Portland, ME headquarters, and reports to the Service Desk Manager.
You Will
- Manage the walk-up service counter in the Portland office, providing general support to employees and demonstrating a strong ability to understand and meet customer needs, ensuring a positive experience.
- Triage and dispatch calls to the appropriate IT staff.
- Generate, assign, and update tickets for calls and walk-up service.
- Oversee equipment distribution and returns for firm employees.
- Prepare laptops for distribution and process laptop returns.
- Submit warranty claims for damaged equipment.
- Provision laptops for onboarding employees and replacements.
- Manage loaner pool equipment
- Manage software licensing inventory.
- Manage reporting for Information Technology hardware, software and IT Service Management systems.
- Serve as the primary liaison from the Technology team to support operational initiatives, including large onboarding groups and Marketing campaigns.
- Assist with creating and maintaining Information Technology documentation.
- Organize, schedule, and attend Technology meetings and team lunches.
- Communicate effectively with the Technology team and other stakeholders.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills, empathy, and patience.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ticketing systems and inventory management tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, both within IT and externally.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
