Your New Role
As an Electrical Install Technician at Bert Black, you’ll be on the front lines ensuring our customers’ electrical needs are met safely, expertly, and with minimal disruption to their day. Here’s what your day will look like:
- Execute installs and repairs that meet and exceed all applicable codes—avoiding callbacks like the pro you are.
- Mentor apprentices, transforming them into skilled, efficient technicians under your guidance.
- Work with manufacturer’s specs to install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment precisely.
- Track, document, and process job specifics in Service Titan, managing parts orders, job costs, and all necessary reporting.
- Coordinate with the dispatch and service team for seamless scheduling and re-scheduling, keeping customers informed and expectations managed.
- Keep your truck clean, organized, and well-stocked, so you’re always prepared for the job at hand.
- Treat every job site with care, respecting our clients’ homes and leaving them in top shape.
- Competitive Compensation: $61,500 - $72,500 per year, plus bonuses for performance. We reward quality work and dedication.

This Job Is for You If…
- You’re a licensed Journeyman Electrician (or a fourth-year apprentice) who’s as organized as you are skilled.
- You’re a stickler for safety, efficiency, and precision in every install and repair.
- You have excellent customer service skills and genuinely care about making sure each customer is thrilled with your work.
- You’re detail-oriented and can navigate blueprints, maps, and manufacturer specifications with ease.
- You’re a problem-solver who takes pride in handling challenges with a “can-do” approach.

- Journeyman Electrician license or 4th-year apprentice status
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license (approval to drive by company’s insurance)
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a high standard for job completion
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and GPS technology
Salary : $61,500 - $72,500
