Pay is commensurate with experience within a range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Full time, non-exempt, benefits eligible. Responsibilities:
The Information Technology Help Desk Technician maintains, develops, and supports all hardware, software, and networking technologies throughout the Center. The IT Help Desk Technician will support and train end users on how to use assigned technology and software applications utilized to perform job tasks.
Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Assist with prepping and deploying equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Technical and end user support for Office 365.
- Basic networking and printer support.
- Daily help desk support, through the IT ticketing system, responding to user requests for assistance which includes a variety of needs ranging in complexity.
- Facilitation of end user training at New Employee Orientation and may include subsequent training based on identified need and demand.
- Travel to various agency locations within 1-3-mile radius to provide general IT support.
- Additional responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
The Information Technology Help Desk Technician I position requires but not limited to:
- Education level: Associate degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience in the IT industry.
- One year of experience performing help desk functions including software and hardware support preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with hardware including PC installation and upgrading, cabling, troubleshooting, and knowledge of basic electronic technology.
- Must have working command of the industry language and ability to translate language to end users.
- Ability to lift and move equipment, including PCs, laptops, and printers.
- Reliable transportation.
- Work involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects weighing up to 100 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday on-site, with some flexibility in assigned work hours.
Salary : $22 - $25
