Description
The Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating forklifts, material handling, and helping on the production floor. This person plays a key role in not only supporting but helping production run smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Move raw materials to production lines and transfer finished products to storage or shipping areas.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Keep production areas stocked and organized for continuous workflow.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Use scanners or warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assists production in completing orders on time and accurately.
- Sands, putties and scrapes parts to specification.
- Operates various hand and power tools.
- Load or unload product.
- Boxing Product.
- Checks in parts, verifies count, quality and identification of all products that are produced in assigned area, prior to shipment to the next process.
- Participates and contributes to a Work Team environment and follows quality control checks.
- Interested in learning how to run the yard truck/trailer to move product to the next process.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Required Education, Training or Experience
· Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook experience is required for this position.
· Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all staff members is essential in this role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to read measurement tools.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Physical Demands
· Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to or exceeding 50 lbs.
· Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours)
Work Environment
Employees must be able to cope with Iowa climates; endure heat and cold conditions in the building. Fast paced workloads and loud noise levels are normal. Paint fumes and exposure to chemicals associated may be present. Personal Protective Equipment as required by OSHA will be provided by the Company.
