Heavy Duty Machinery Mechanic Job Description:
Penguin Random House is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Machinery Mechanic to join its team at the Bertelsmann facility. As a Heavy Duty Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty machinery, including electrical and mechanical systems. Your experience and expertise will enable you to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently, minimizing downtime and reducing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair heavy-duty machinery, including electrical and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, using your knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning, to prevent equipment failure. Collaborate with other teams to achieve production goals and improve operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
Three or more years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a similar role. Strong electrical construction and mechanical trades skills, with the ability to read schematics. Basic PC skills and physical capabilities to perform heavy lifting. Availability to work overtime, with shift hours being Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
