- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other key components.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and explain repairs to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality work.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including repair orders and warranty claims.
- Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- ASE certification(s) are a plus.
