Job Description: Automotive Technician Entry Level & Experienced
We are currently seeking both Entry Level and Experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure optimum functionality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Repair and replace parts, components, or systems in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and computer-related problems efficiently
- Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
- Provide efficient and effective customer service by addressing and resolving customer concerns or inquiries related to vehicle repairs
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and industry trends
Requirements:
For Entry Level:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational or technical training program in Automotive Technology is preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
For Experienced:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and customers
Compensation:
The pay range for both Entry Level and Experienced Automotive Technicians is $20.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts may also be provided.
