Repair Logistics Assistant
Job Summary:
The Repair Logistics Assistant is responsible for supporting daily repair operations, assisting with rental instrument preparation, and providing retail support as needed. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient workflows within the repair and rental departments while delivering excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Repair Support:
- Assist in processing instrument repairs and coordinating logistics.
- Track repair statuses and communicate updates to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair workspace.
- Rental Preparation:
- Prepare rental instruments for distribution, including cleaning and minor maintenance.
- Inspect and assess returned rental instruments for necessary repairs.
- Organize rental inventory to ensure availability for customers.
- Retail Support:
- Assist in the retail store as needed, providing customer service and answering inquiries.
- Help with inventory organization, restocking, and store presentation.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a positive customer experience.
- General Responsibilities:
- Follow company policies and procedures related to repairs, rentals, and retail.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Repair Logistics Manager.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of musical instruments is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a music store, repair shop, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
