Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects meet their objectives in terms of scope, quality, cost, and timelines. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills and will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Collecting and analyzing project data to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Creating and updating project reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Leading decision-making and problem-solving efforts, coordinating with the project team and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with project standards, policies, and procedures.
- Analyzing financial data and presenting accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting with financial audits and developing business processes and accounting policies.
- Providing support to the Controller and other members of the finance team as needed.
- Establishing professional and constructive communication with customers and team members.
- Willing to travel nationwide. (20-30% of the time)
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of project management and finance principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and proven experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, with a high level of expertise in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- 5 – 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working in the field of services or engineering services
- Knowledge of SAP systems is helpful
- A master’s degree or MBA.
- Certifications in Project Management, such as PMP or CAPM, and project control, such as PCP or EVP.
- Certifications in data analysis, such as CAP or CDA.
- Proficiency in German language
