Job Description:The AI Experiences team is dedicated to integrating intelligent, AI-powered solutions into next-generation in-vehicle infotainment systems. Our goal is to redefine the automotive experience by delivering safe, adaptive, and personalized AI-driven features. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in developing and testing AI-driven infotainment systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, test automation frameworks, embedded systems, Android, and AI-based infotainment solutions.In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, test engineers, and product teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and seamless integration of advanced infotainment features, creating an exceptional in-vehicle experience for our customers.Key Responsibilities:• Automate test execution for functional, performance, and system-level testing in infotainment systems.• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and other relevant tools.• Build and enhance tools for automated testing, CI/CD integration, and test reporting.• Design, develop, and execute test cases for AI-driven infotainment systems in embedded Linux and Android environments.• Work with Git-based repositories to manage test scripts, track issues, and collaborate with development teams.• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation of software updates.• Perform code reviews and collaborate with developers to maintain high-quality code standards.• Conduct both manual and automated testing of infotainment features, ensuring robust system behavior.• Debug and analyze issues across embedded systems, Android, and AI-based infotainment applications.• Test and validate AI-driven recommendations, voice assistants, and user action predictions in infotainment systems.• Clearly log defects, track issues using defect management tools, and provide detailed reports to facilitate efficient debugging and resolution.• Ensure smooth integration and deployment of infotainment software with automotive back-end systems.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:• Strong programming skills in Python and Shell scripting for test automation. (RobotFramework, Virtual Environments, PIP)• 5-7 yrs of experience required• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into development workflows (Gitlab CI/Runners)• Understanding of Android development and testing methodologies and tools. (Android Studio, AVD/CVD)• Familiarity with Git, version control, and software development best practices.(GitHub, Gitlab)• Basic understanding of ECUs or Hardware in HIL (Vector, Canoe)• Experience with embedded Linux environments and debugging embedded systems.• Basic understanding of C code for debugging and collaboration with developers.• Knowledge of automotive infotainment systems, AI-based user experiences, and HMI testing.• Ability to analyze system logs, debug crashes, and work with hardware teams to resolve issues.
