Berwick Academy, a PK-12 co-educational independent day school located in southern Maine, seeks a Communications and Marketing summer intern for a 2-3 month appointment for 32 hours a week.
A successful candidate will have knowledge of and be excited about graphic design, photography, videography, website management, social media, and other digital media.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Graphic design elements

Writing content for the website and other communications

Website updates

Contribute to social media pages

Work on other special projects as needed
Qualifications:

Excellent writing and communication skills

Experience with social media management

Videography and video editing skills a plus

Ability to think creatively

A bachelor’s degree (or working toward) in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field

Experience with major social media platforms, Adobe Suite and Google products

Proficiency in using DSLR or mirrorless cameras for photography and video production
This is a paid internship. Primarily reporting to the director of communications, this position will also work in collaboration with the Admission and Advancement teams as necessary.
