Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with expertise in various techniques including sheet metal work, auto painting, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Fill in gouges on plastic door fronts and plastic panels
- Apply soldering techniques for effective bonding of plastic components.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Utilize paint spraying equipment to apply finishes evenly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical demands of the job.
- Familiarity with auto painting techniques and airless paint spraying equipment is preferred.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
