We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to support our team with project bids, takeoffs and bid communications. Attention to detail is a must. We offer fantastic family health, vision, and dental insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, life insurance, and 401(k) / matching plans.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Review and understand contract scope, provisions, and requirements.
- Accurately prepare quality takeoffs, proposals, and bids.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor bid solicitations.
- Develop and implement bid strategies.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, gather information, and complete required training/background checks.
- Clarify subcontractor/vendor quotes, verify specifications, and ensure owner requirements are met.
- Facilitate bid review meetings and identify critical bid items.
- Read project specifications, drawings, and conduct basic risk analysis.
- Submit bid items into estimating software.
- Participate in project turnover to the Project Manager and execution team.
- Manage conflicts and issues in a calm, constructive manner.
Qualifications for Success:
- 8 years of electrical construction experience.
- Skilled at multitasking, planning, and organizing in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and across teams, taking initiative on projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in AccuBid.
