Description

BMA Is seeking 3 candidates to fill our Computer Based Training-Instructor/ Subject Matter Expert positions at our Fort Moore, GA location. 

 

 

Job Summary    

  • Provide system subject matter expert and instructor services to teach the use and/or integration of currently assigned Mission Command and Live, Virtual, Constructive Simulation Systems or their replacements, to MCoE POI Courses, MCoE Tenant Units, and Non-Tenant Units supported by the MCoE with primary instruction at the Clarke Simulation Center.

  • Conduct basic operator training for Force Twenty-One Battle Command Brigade and Below-Blue Force Tracker (FBCB2-BFT) and/or Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P) and/or its replacement.

  • Conduct basic operator training for the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), and/or its replacement.

  • Revise digital training and exercise support materials for MCoE instruction of assigned MC, C2, and constructive exercise systems.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which provides a working reference for both the conduct of daily business and support of digital training, MC constructive exercises, and Live, Virtual, Constructive-Gaming (LVC-G) systems.

  • Perform daily operational checks of classroom computers, Systems, and Networks used in the instruction of MC systems/simulations and audiovisual equipment.

  • Provide Live, Virtual, Constructive-Gaming (LVC-G) integration support, analyzing student performance during LVC-G training and/or exercises, through every phase of each mission.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the currently used Live, Virtual, and Constructive-Gaming Simulation Software (LVC-G) applications and/or its replacement.

  • Set up Live, Virtual, Constructive-Gaming Simulation (LVC-G)/hardware workstations and work areas to support exercises, seminars, or working

  • Provide modeling and/or animation support; the modeler/animator shall apply knowledge of the technological capabilities and limitations associated with modeling and texturing for gaming solutions in support of the proponent school education needs.

  • Construct a formatted DXTRS user playbox, maneuver network, DTED readable format that is compatible with a DIS standards. The contractor shall, build, reformat and manipulate geographic information system (GIS) source data for imagery; build, add or modify imagery features 3d modeling not contained in source data to produce gaming terrain data sets (playbox).

  • Apply scripting language to augment and enhance behaviors; create simple functions in a client scripting language. Manipulate gaming application software to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) actions through scripting.

  • Assist proponent training developers build proponent training content, placing objects and entities, defining AI actions through scripting, creating and integrating audio assets, and displaying text and graphics, as defined in approved project documentation.

  • Provide modification of existing databases and supporting documentation for scheduled classes or exercises.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of integration and/or constructive simulation software such as JCATS, DXTRS, CPCE, JBC-P, VBS3, and/or its replacements is required to support all Mission Command training events as needed.

  • Develop an end-of-course critique for each training event.

  • Conduct technical or "in-house" after action review (AAR).  Produce analytical documents and reports identifying shortfall areas and insights into staff actions.

 

Clearance Requirements 

There is a Secret Security Clearance requirement for this position upon hire. 

 

Required Skills & Certifications 

  • Secret Security Clearance

  • Graduated from the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), or equivalent.

  • Ability to complete a train-the-trainer course in the approved MC system applicable application(s).

  • Demonstrated experience and expert level knowledge in designated systems such as JCATS, DXTRS, CPCE, JBC-P, VBS3, and FBCB2-BFT.

  • Demonstrated experience with Live, Virtual, Constructive Gaming Simulation systems and related hardware.

 

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions    

  • Ability to physically set up Live, Virtual, Constructive-Gaming Simulation (LVC-G)/hardware workstations and work areas to support exercises, seminars, or working groups.
