BMA is seeking a Military Analyst to join our team in Fort Moore, GA.
Job Summary

The Military Analyst will support the MCOE G3 with Operational Analysis, meeting support, briefing support, scheduling support and OPORD support.

Use the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), in accordance with ADRP 5-0 (The Operations Process) to recommend courses of action (COA). Outline the strength/weakness, risk assessment, required resources, and benefits for each COA, and provide recommendations on process improvement and cost saving measures that the MCoE can take in all assigned actions.

Attend 3-5 meetings weekly (as necessary) regarding operational planning on various topics and events impacting training, as determined by MCoE Chief of Operations. Record meeting minutes, to include: attendees, date/time, purpose, agenda, new topics of discussion, decisions, questions, responses, due-outs, assignments, projected follow-on meetings, and other pertinent information. Prior to all meetings review all material and identify all objectives and outcomes that should be expected from the forum. Present the objectives and outcomes of the meeting to the Government prior to the start of all meetings. Distribute accurate notes, summaries and reports in accordance with TR 1-11 within 48 hours from conclusion of meeting.

Serves a Staff Lead for: Weekly G-3 Division Chief meetings, which synchronization of calendars and agency priorities; bi-weekly Commanding General (CG) and Chief of Staff (CoS) Line of Efforts (LOE) briefings; synchronization of G3 operational calendar and smart book to help de-conflict key battle rhythm events; Coordinates and deconflicts for five (5) different conference rooms and associated VTCs and meetings for command group attendance.

Prepares plans and executes weekly G-3/S-3 meeting. Updates continuity products for key points of contact in all organizations on Fort Benning.

Prepares plans and executes weekly Commanding General’s updates briefs (CUB) and CG Standup, provides continuous weekly updates and execution to the CG’s Standup.

Plans, Prepares and Coordinates and publishes MCoE Command Brief for command group use during VIP, foreign national, and other high level visits at the MCoE

Prepares and publishes G3 Smart Book for CoS Director’s meetings.

Prepares, plans and publishes Operational Orders (OPORD) for key events to include but not limited to Cadet Troop Leadership Training (CTLT) & Holiday Block Leave (HBL)

Coordinate Chief of Staff / Commanding General tracking information. Analyze information provided concerning the Commanding General's notes and comments from meetings and develop specified tasks from these notes for review and action by the Government. Input the specified tasks into the SharePoint system; monitor the status on assigned tasks to ensure suspenses are met, and update the MCoE Chief of Operations on tasks that may miss their suspense. Ensure SharePoint is updated within 48 hours after updates received.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Secret security clearance requirement for this position.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in General Business, Management, or Business Psychology, Organizational Management, Business Processes, (or equivalent experience)

Experience in Operations

Experience in short and long-term planning or strategic analysis

Experience in creative thinking

Experience and understanding of written communications commensurate with a master’s degree program level of both written and oral communications

Experience with communicating at the Garrison or echelon at or above Brigade level

General skills with, knowledge of, and abilities in 1) General office equipment, 2) MS Office products and their use, and 3) Army policies, procedures, protocol
