An innovative Interior Design firm dedicated to enhancing low-income multi-family residential spaces is seeking a talented Lead Interior Designer and Project Coordinator to be a vital part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation through to completion while creating designs that prioritize functionality and aesthetics.Key Responsibilities : Oversee project schedules, budgets, and all aspects of project management.Collaborate effectively with architects, vendors, contractors, and engineers to fulfill project objectives.Research and source project materials and FF&E within project budget constraints.Utilize Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD to develop compelling design concepts and presentations.Conduct quality control assessments to ensure project standards are met.Stay informed on industry trends, changes, and best practices to enhance design processes.Skills and Experience : 10 years of experience in Interior Design or Architecture.Proven background in multifamily housing; diverse experience in commercial interiors, office, and educational spaces is an advantage.BA or MA in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture.Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.Strong project management experience from concept through completion.Knowledgeable in ADA, LEED design principles, building codes, and preparation of construction documents.This role offers an engaging benefits package including 401k matching after one year, 100% medical coverage paid by the firm, an end-of-year bonus program, 7 days of PTO plus company holidays for Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
