A Texas architecture firm is in search of a Project Manager with over 8 years of experience in commercial architecture. This is an opportunity to join a well-established Texas firm, in their growing office in Austin. They are looking for a strong, motivated individual to manage multiple small-medium projects, coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients, as well as manage the full project scope of work.
- The right candidate will : Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to perform each essential duty and responsibility effectively.
- Have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including verbal, written and technology-based communication skills, graphic skills, and design ability.
- Ability to work effectively individually and / or in a team atmosphere.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and consultation skills and the ability to take appropriate decisive action.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, construction methodology, design, trends, material application, sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.
- Strong ability to translate client ideas into visual and / or tangible references such as drawings or models.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead others by example.
- Proven ability to present to clients and assist and participate in marketing / project interviews.
- Available for limited travel, works hours as required to meet training and project requirements / deadlines.
- Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
- Required Skills Credentials : Professional degree in architecture or related field required; Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture or a Bachelor of Architecture and / or Master of Architecture preferred.
- Architecture licensure in good standing required; NCARB certification preferred
- Strong proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, Project, OneNote, & Teams), Deltek Vision, Newforma, and Revit / BIM360 preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe CC (Ps, Id, & Ai), Clarity, Enscape, and Sketchup preferred.
