Director of Digital Content & Social Media Strategy

Bespoke Luxury Marketing is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the digital presence for our company and up to 10 luxury clients. You will provide creative direction and collaborate with a team of graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and video editors, ensuring content aligns with luxury branding standards and meets deadlines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, with a deep understanding of social media strategy. Responsibilities include scheduling, posting, engaging with audiences, and driving creative execution across various platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Creative Direction & Strategy:

  • Lead the creative direction of social media content, overseeing the entire lifecycle from ideation to final post.
  • Develop and provide clear, inspiring creative briefs for the team, ensuring content is on-brand, visually captivating, and aligned with the luxury market.
  • Collaborate with the creative team—including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and video editors—to produce engaging, high-quality content that drives audience engagement.
  • Regularly analyze performance data and social media trends to adjust and optimize content strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and audience preferences.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand standards and resonates with the target demographic across platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of social-first video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, ensuring the content is optimized for each platform.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members, ensuring continuous development and high standards of work.


Platform Management & Engagement:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of our social channels (Bespoke Real Estate, Bespoke Luxury Marketing, and client channels), ensuring consistent and engaging content.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, platform updates, and opportunities for real-time engagement, driving the creative team to capitalize on these insights.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategies and enhance engagement, leveraging social media analytics and SEO tools.
  • Manage audience interactions, ensuring timely responses and fostering meaningful relationships that build brand loyalty.
  • Content Scheduling & Workflow:
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for both internal and client channels, ensuring strategic and timely delivery across multiple platforms.
  • Utilize social media management tools to efficiently schedule, publish, and monitor content across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with production teams to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring high-quality content is always delivered on time.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in social media management, creative direction, and content production, particularly within the luxury sector.
  • Proven experience managing a creative team that includes graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and video editors.
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, platform-specific best practices, and content optimization techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, motivate team members, and maintain high standards of work.
  • Expertise in content creation, including video production and social-first content tailored to platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and clear creative briefs.
  • A keen aesthetic sensibility and understanding of luxury branding, photography, visual composition, and storytelling.
  • Proficient in major social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn) and social media management tools like Later, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with social analytics, SEO tools, and performance metrics to refine strategies and improve content outcomes.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or a related field.
