Successful Wellness Center in Alameda seeks a diligent and motivated Front Desk / Client Care Coordinator!

Front Desk / Client Care Coordinator

Compensation: $19-22/hour, Dependent on experience

Employment type: part-time 20-25 hours/week

We're looking for an inspired, self-driven Front Desk/Client Care Coordinator to help run our Alameda wellness center.

This isn’t just a job. This is a position that you can put your heart and soul into and the rewards and benefits will be far more than monetary compensation. We love what we do and we want you to love it too!

Responsibilities:

  • Membership sales
  • Client service; including check-in/check-out, answering client questions about our services and their accounts, and problem resolution
  • Answering heavy phones and making appointments
  • Light housekeeping including laundry
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Knowledge of different massage modalities and comfortable sharing with clients and potential clients

We are open from 9am-7pm Monday-Friday and 10-6 Saturday & Sunday, so we need people who can work some evening and weekend shifts and flexibility to business needs.

  • A good listener who enjoys building rapport and making sure we meet the needs of current and prospective clients
  • Someone who can turn every incident of client criticism to a story of great customer service
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred; especially selling memberships or services in‐person to potential clients
  • Customer Service in a spa‐like or similar environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with modern office tools and systems; ability to quickly build proficiency in new computer programs
  • Driven to create the best work environment with your teammates and the best experiences for the client
  • Self-motivated individuals who are able to manage time and prioritize tasks without constant supervision

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
