We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols. The Delivery Driver will also assist in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading packages, to ensure smooth logistics.
*Duties*
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient order fulfillment and shipping/receiving processes.
- Assist in picking and packing orders as needed within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, shipping, receiving, and package handling is advantageous.
- Experience operating delivery vehicles is a plus; valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order processing.
