Overview
Bessemer Trust is seeking an experienced product manager for its client website and mobile app solutions. In this role, you will be directly responsible for ongoing enhancement, success measurement, and user engagement and adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to innovation at Bessemer and enhance the firm's overall client experience.
This position collaborates with colleagues across Client Advisory, Marketing and Client Engagement, and Information Technology, reports to the Head of Client Digital and Reporting Solutions, and is located in the firm's New York headquarters. We support a hybrid work schedule that is up to 40% remote.
In this role, you will tackle the challenge of delivering a best-in-class client digital experience: Responsibilities include:
- Lead user analytics across KPI definition, tracking, and reporting
- Manage product backlog, support product planning, and roadmap
- Engage clients and advisors to understand needs, support adoption, and deliver ongoing enhancements
- Identify user pain points through analytics and surface requirements.
- Research product, market, and competitors
As an ideal candidate, you may have the following:
- Combined knowledge of 1) digital features, functionality, and experiences, 2) data, processes, and technology, and 3) wealth management services, capabilities, and content
- Experience with measurement tracking, data analytics, and reporting
- Experience supporting end-users, communicating product enhancements, and creating learning resources
- Experience with Jira planning and tracking
- Experience collaborating with cross-organizational teams to develop digital product enhancements
- Background in user experience across research, design, and documentation
- A keen eye for gaps in client service features and the innovative mindset to fill them
Daily and monthly responsibilities
- Analyze usage data, track KPIs, develop reports and dashboards, assess trends over time
- Manage product backlog, create user stories, and document requirements
- Provide direct support to clients and advisors, maintain and create new content for resource library
- Define requirements, assess feasibility, support prioritization, and remove impediments to development
- Test product enhancements to ensure requirements are met
- Support development and management of product strategy documents and multi-workstream project plans
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven track record of bringing great user experiences to life
- Measurement experience from metrics identification and tracking to analysis and reporting
- Effective relationship building, team engagement, and communications skills
- Experience with all elements of the product development and delivery lifecycle
- Experience aligning agile delivery with waterfall milestone reviews and communications
Relevant technology experience may include:
- Project Management: Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent
- Data and data analysis: SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, Qlik or equivalent
- Design and UX: Figma, Zeplin, or equivalent
Additional relevant qualifications
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications
- Proven experience working on a product team in a non-managerial role
- Demonstrated skill in client experience methodologies including design thinking
The base salary range for this position is $135k-175k . Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
