ABOUT BESSER AND POSITION SUMMARY
Besser Bros is one of the longest standing and most reputable Garage Door Installation and Service Companies and has been serving Southern California since 1977. We are excited to announce our recent merger with Hanson Overhead Garage Door Service. Responsibilities include driving company provided vehicle to customer’s locations and troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining our Customers Garage Doors and Operators AND ensuring 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Technicians are also able to sell customers a new door replacement if the customer elects to go that route or if a door is not repairable. ALL calls are electronically dispatched, our technicians are issued with Company I-Pads, Company Vehicles and Clothing. We are seeking highly motivated, presentable and technically inclined people who have had a minimum of two (2) years or prior customer Service or Sales Experience. Prior Garage Door Experience is not required.

BESSER REQUIREMENTS:
- A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

- Ability to pass Background Check, MVR Check and Drug Screen
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Perform highly diversified duties to install, repair and maintain customer’s garage doors and Operators onsite at our customer’s locations
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of customer’s equipment
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting of customer’s equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manual, company manuals and work orders to suggest and perform maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Make suggestions to customers based on diagnosing to repair their equipment or suggest options to fully replace customer’s garage door or operator
- Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing maintenance and repair functions
- Drive company vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all traffic laws to customers locations
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area
- Perform other workrelated duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary. Certain job sites may also require wearing of steel toed boots and hard hats for protection.
