JOB DESCRIPTION
This position acts as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing, overseeing the communication, development, and continuous improvement of both new and existing products.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to support equipment builds, testing, and debugging processes.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for mechanical and electrical engineering-related quality control requests from the manufacturing team.
- Develops and maintains essential product documentation, including Green Books and DVPRs.
- Attends design reviews, providing input based on previous builds and distributes key notes from meetings to attendees.
- Ensures that engineering standards are consistently maintained across models and drawings for both electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Assists with equipment run-offs and documents any changes or issues during the build process.
- Regularly communicates project updates to all relevant stakeholders.
- Leads daily stand-up meetings to review any delays in manufacturing, engineering and purchasing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience: Seven years of industry-related experience. Three years of experience in SolidWorks.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Must be familiar with a variety of manufacturing processes, materials, programming software, business systems, and Microsoft Office software programs. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Responsibilities: Occasional travel required.
