We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Mix and match colors according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints or schematics to understand project requirements.
- Use power tools and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform caulking and plastering tasks as needed to ensure smooth finishes.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and concrete finishers, to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Painter in residential or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with different painting techniques and materials.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint requirements.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of construction estimating is a plus.
- Experience with airless paint spraying is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to read schematics and follow instructions accurately.
