What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Disassembly Technician position at Best Body Shop?
We are looking to add a Automotive Disassembly Technician to our team. If you are humble, willing to learn all aspects of the collision repair industry from the best. Duties and Responsibilities: Disassembling and preform duties with other shop team members including, but not limited to:
· Participate in a 100% disassembly of vehicles for repair plan
· Works closely with repair planner to ensure proper and accurate repair plan
· Preform quality disassembly / reassembly repairs, using OEM procedures
· Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of repairs, including photographs and documentation for insurance claims and legal purposes.
· Identify extra &/or missing piece parts and notate for further processes
· Ensures correct parts are ordered/received as necessary
· Reassembling vehicles after repairs are completed
· Maintaining shop cleanliness & organization
· Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to dissemble and/or repair vehicles
· Communicate & collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency within all duties
· Follow Safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Job Requirements:
· Ability to maintain a humble, hungry and smart attitude
· Strong technical & mechanical knowledge and aptitude
· Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy
· Highly organized with ability to be efficient in workflow
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other repair equipment is required
· Automotive Body Assembly/Disassembly experience is preferred
· Computer, typing and proper grammar/spelling skill are necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
