Best Brains Middletown is looking for enthusiastic part-time teachers. Teachers must be state-certified or have a teaching certificate to apply.
Job Type: Part-time
Location: Middletown
The ideal candidate is
- Comfortable working with children aged 3-14 years
- Proficient in Math and English curriculum
- Able to multitask and work with up to 5 students at a time
- Available Monday, Thursdays, Friday evenings and Saturday Morning
- Has a degree in teaching or similar
- Punctual and organized
Primary duties are
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Teaching/ providing instruction to the students
- Assess student progress and provide timely written feedback on assignments
- Meeting with parents and discussing their child's progress from time to time
- Minimal grading
There is no need to develop lesson plans. A comprehensive curriculum and teaching materials will be provided.
We offer consistent hours and competitive pay. This is a year-round position and you must be available for the following days and times:
- Monday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Thursdays 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Saturdays 10 AM to 1 PM
