Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to customers by selling tires and automotive service, road hazard, recommended services, benefits and product features, creating long-term loyalty bonds with customers; driving sales and profitability of the store, communicating and managing repair orders and maintaining a clean and well merchandised store.
Fast-paced, high volume retail environment with growth and career opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Promptly meets and greets customers
- Answers phone and schedules appointments with customers
- Determines the nature of customer problems; May make road test or visually inspect the vehicle
- Creates Repair Order Request (ROR) detailing service to be performed or merchandise to be sold
- Explains warranties, options, pricing, etc. to the customer
- Obtains customer approval for service before delivering order to service personnel
- Reviews completed repairs or services performed with customers and collects payment
Desired Qualifications
3 years experience as a Sales Associate in an auto repair store, auto dealership or comparable professional environment
Tire Manufacturer Sales Skills certification a plus
