What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Protection Services Consultant position at Best Buy?
As the Executive Protection Services Consultant, you will perform proactive measures to ensure the security and safety of our C-suite, corporate executives and company events. You will help develop a culture where safety, security, and resiliency are integrated into every day and requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality. You will also help continually identify, evaluate and monitor risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions.
This role is on site, which means you would be required to work at the location listed on this posting.
What you'll do
- Provide protective services to include close protection, transportation, risk assessments, threat management, and surveillance / countersurveillance to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Collaborate with various teams (including law enforcement) to coordinate travel and event security plans for executives while providing recommendations to anticipate and deter potential threats
- Provide security related training and awareness for Executives, Executive Administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Respond to emergencies and perform medical assistance as needed
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters
