What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Device Support Technician position at Best Buy?
Join our dedicated team as a Health Device Support Technician. In this role, you'll take charge of the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and packaging of health devices tailored to client needs. Your responsibilities will also include cleaning, disinfecting, testing, and shipping devices to our third-party vendors and, occasionally, their patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct basic electronics repairs with or without assistance, including triaging, testing functionality, troubleshooting, and performing firmware or BIOS updates.
- Assess and grade parts and technology, report any nonconforming materials, devices, and accessories.
- Inspect reprocessed kits by cleaning, disinfecting, visually inspecting, and functionality testing all devices.
- Document all required activities associated with cleaning, disinfecting, inspection, and functionality testing.
- Maintain needed certifications and utilize proper equipment at respective workstations.
