What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Process Coordinator position at Best Buy?
As a Supply Chain Process Coordinator, you'll act as a coach for general warehouse workers, merchandise processors and recycling processors. You'll oversee training processes, powered equipment and day-to-day tasks in a distribution center. In this role, you'll conduct training for both new hires and existing employees.
What you'll do
Build training plans for new hires and existing employees
Evaluate warehouse processes and assist in monitoring standard operating procedure throughout the warehouse
Oversee the recertification of equipment operators
Identify gaps in training and partner with leaders to close them
Ensure training materials and locations are organized and prepared before all training events
Support daily operations when not conducting training
Basic qualifications
Written and verbal communication skills
Able to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire
Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time
Able to lift weight up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Preferred qualifications
6 months of leadership and distribution experience
6 months of training facilitation experience
Licensed to operate powered equipment
Previous experience with Microsoft Office
