Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cabinets Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support lead designers in bringing projects to life by utilizing design software, managing project schedules, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring design quality. This role is perfect for an organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a keen eye for design trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize design software such as 2020 Design/Pro-Kitchen to develop layouts and project presentations.
- Assist in material selection and understanding construction methods to ensure quality design execution.
- Manage project timelines, track material orders, and coordinate with suppliers and contractors to keep projects on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with designers, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepare and present design concepts, materials, and progress updates.
- Assist in facilitating meetings, supporting marketing efforts, and handling administrative tasks.
- Maintain quality control by paying close attention to details in color, material selection, and overall design consistency.
- Stay up to date with current design trends to contribute creative ideas and enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: College Degree or 2 years prior working experience in Interior Design or related field.
- Technical Skills: 1) Proficiency in 2020 Design/Pro-Kitchen and other design software, along with an understanding of construction methods and materials is highly recommended. 2) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong multitasking, scheduling, and workflow management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for client interaction and project coordination.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify potential design issues and maintain high-quality standards.
- Creativity & Design Insight: Knowledge of current design trends and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
- Language: Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred
