Position: Inventory Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient communication between the sales, warehouse, and procurement teams. This role is responsible for overseeing the administrative side of inventory receiving, facilitating order adjustments, resolving minor customer service issues, and maintaining smooth operational flow through accurate data handling and internal coordination.
Responsibilities:
Container Receiving Administration

- Manage the administrative process for incoming containers.
- Identify incoming stone bundles and verify measurements against manufacturer-provided data.
- Submit accurate receiving paperwork to the procurement team.
- Label stone slabs and assign proper warehouse storage locations.
- Order Reallocation Support
- Assist the warehouse and sales teams in reallocating stone slabs for active orders when changes are needed.
- Ensure replacements match both dimensions and pricing.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to reallocation needs in collaboration with management.
- Shipping Office & Customer Support
- Assist walk-in drivers and manage their paperwork.
- Verify customer payments before order release.
- Direct drivers to correct pickup zones and coordinate smooth order handoffs.
- Address minor customer service issues in the shipping office with professionalism and promptness.
- Inventory Control & Cycle Counts
- Conduct cycle counts of materials as scheduled or requested.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records.
- Sales Team Support
- Act as a liaison between the sales and warehouse teams, particularly during the preparation of large or complex orders.
- Assist in locating, reallocating, and organizing materials needed for large orders.

- Effective communicator across departments.
