House Cleaner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable house cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our clients' homes are clean, organized, and well-maintained. The house cleaner will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional cleaning services and exceeding our clients' expectations. Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all rooms in clients' homes, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.

Dusting and Polishing: Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a clean and presentable appearance.

Vacuuming and Sweeping: Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery, as well as sweep and mop hard floors.

Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure a streak-free shine.

Laundry and Linen Care: Wash, fold, and replace bed linens and towels as needed.

Organizing: Organize and declutter spaces, including arranging personal items and household items neatly.

Trash Disposal: Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.

Cleaning Supplies Management: Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.

Special Requests: Accommodate specific client requests and follow any additional cleaning instructions provided.

Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in the client's home.

Time Management: Efficiently manage time to complete cleaning tasks within the scheduled timeframe.

Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients to address their needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in house cleaning or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions and adapt to varying client preferences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Valid driver's license (if required for the position).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

- Previous experience in floor care, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Skills:

- Floor care: Experience in maintaining and cleaning various types of flooring surfaces (carpet, tile, hardwood, etc.)
- Custodial: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different areas (restrooms, break rooms, etc.)
- Maintain: Ability to keep assigned areas clean and organized on a regular basis
- Commercial cleaning: Familiarity with cleaning practices in commercial settings (offices, retail stores, etc.)
- Facilities maintenance: Basic understanding of maintenance tasks related to building upkeep
- Porter: Experience in janitorial duties such as trash removal and general cleaning
- Clean: Ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Buffing: Knowledge of buffing techniques for floor maintenance
- Industrial cleaning: Experience in cleaning industrial facilities or manufacturing environments

Pay: $17.58 - $30.00 per hour
