Role : Market ManagerTerritory : Texas (Territory) Compensation : Base Salary ($70,000 - $90,000) Bonus (up to 30% of Base Salary )Job Type : Full-Time EmployeeWork Location : Remote (with willingness to travel)Home Location : Austin or Houston preferred Overview : The Market Manager is a full-time employee and key member of the Sales Department who is on the Midwest sales team and reports directly to its Regional Sales Director. The Role leads market activities related to each of sales, marketing and budgeting for certain key distributors within the Territory and results in the delivery of target volumes and distribution goals for the same as set forth in the annual business plan.ResponsibilitiesKnow Your BusinessTrain and educate yourself regarding Best Day Brewings product portfolio and related merchandise and marketing materials and programs.Be and stay informed regarding the Regions annual business plan.Educate yourself regarding existing and potential distributor(s) product portfolios, territories, and ways of working.Educate yourself regarding existing and potential retailer(s) product offerings, physical locations, customer profiles, and ways of working.Stay informed about industry trends nationally, competitor landscape and activities within the Territory, and market dynamics & customer preferences within the Territory that may impact the business generally and the Regions sales plan specifically. Regularly monitor the Territorys key distributor(s) performance against the Regions annual business plan and provide a monthly standardized report to the Regional Sales Director regarding the same.Audit accounts for pricing surveys using available software to document price points on the shelf and communicate the same to the Regional Sales Director in monthly reports.Know and adhere to dollar budgets applicable to the Role.Communicate on a daily basis with the distributors in the market to ensure issues within your Territory are resolved on a timely basis.Own Your BusinessKnow the sales plan for the Territory that is set forth in the Regions annual plan.Deliver the target volumes and distribution goals as stated in your personal goal statement and the Regions annual business plan for the Territory . Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director on creating the annual business planIdentify non traditional account opportunities to introduce that connect to Doers in our target demographicsBuild and maintain strong relationships with the Territorys distributors to ensure optimal, effective and efficient product distribution.Collaborate with distributors to ensure adequate inventory levels for and timely product delivery to Territory distributors.Conduct regular meetings and training sessions with the Territorys distributors to provide product updates, sales strategies, and promotional initiatives.Manage the Territorys sales and distributor budget and coordinate sales and marketing activities with marketing resources in the marketCoordinate execution of marketing programs with the Best Day Brewing Sales and Marketing Teams plus distributor(s) teams within the Territory. Implement activity plan for each key distributor within the Territory, ensuring clear and measurable objectives to deliver the distribution and ROS targets.Ensure execution of all marketing programs within retail accounts located in the Territory.Ensure execution of all chain programs (distribution / promotions / programming) in the Territory and authorizations through distributor execution.Place POS (Point of Sale) items in retail accounts within the Territory.Conduct promotions and demos at natural food stores and premier specialty grocers and other premier accounts located within the Territory.Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences held within the Territory or sponsored by the Territorys distributor(s) or partners on behalf of Best Day Brewing.Grow Your BusinessIdentify and prospect sales opportunities at potential & existing customer accounts and pursue gaining placements at such accounts through persuasive and effective selling techniques.Regularly and consistently connect with key distribution and retail partners located within the Territory (e.g., sales reps, area sales managers, district managers, brand managers, and office staff) to foster long-term relationships and expand Best Day Brewings market share within the Territory by enhancing sales capabilities and drivers, presenting material and educating on Best Day Brewings product portfolio as needed.Deliver an average of 10 cases of samples per month to strategic brand and property partners (identified by the Director of Dawn Patrol or the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Events) located within the Territory.Be An Ideal Team PlayerFollow the Best Day Way (as provided and updated from time-to-time) as applicable.
