What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wash Bay Technician position at BEST Employment SoluTions, LLC?
Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals▪ Operate Handheld/PC
▪ Review daily production need schedule
▪ Load Wash Bay with Cold Drink and Fountain Equipment using a pallet jack
▪ Disassemble and clean Carbonators
▪ Complete needs assessment of Cold Drink Coolers
▪ Remove grills, shelves, and drip trays
▪ Remove all debris from Cold Drink Equipment
▪ Clean Cold Drink Equipment using soap, water, brushes, and pressure washer
▪ Place grills, shelves, and drip trays in cleaned equipment
▪ Transport completed equipment to staging for Body Shop
▪ Clean product inside and out
▪ Ensure that Cold Drink Equipment will pass final QC
▪ Close out order in system
▪ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the day
For this role, you will need:
▪ Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting all associates and Company assets▪ Minimum age 18 years old
▪ Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with safety policies
▪ Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
▪ Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
▪ Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
▪ Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
▪ High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience
▪ Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools
▪ Effective quality management and technical skills needed
This role is extremely physical, which will require:
▪ Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.▪ Continuous bending, kneeling, squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise
