Teknicotes's facilities provide automatic, semi-automatic, and manual coating services in a vast array of finishes. In a job-shop environment, our customers require us to deliver quality parts on time from all of our metal finishing operations. We are looking for a Production Operator/Quality Inspector to add to our growing team. This role removes parts from the line and inspects them for various defect types.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the specifications of the part and ensure that each part meets customer's specifications and expectations.
- Identify parts for various defect types and communicate the defects to production.
- Assist the production team in finding and implementing a solution.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; and complying with company and OSHA regulations.
- Assist and cross-train on other areas of the production line as needed.

- All other duties, as assigned by the production supervisor.
Qualifications:
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend and reach for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to utilize safety equipment when necessary (goggles, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, etc.).
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- The ability to read written purchase orders, specification sheets, and other paperwork pertinent to the job.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work with a diverse culture to identify ways to improve processes, quality, and safety.
