Best Financial has an exciting opportunity as an Agent Support Associate. We are looking for outgoing, energetic candidates who have prior customer service and sales experience.
This position will be responsible for managing incoming client calls and service inquiries. This position will also be expected to generate leads that develop into new clients or add products to an existing client. Identify and asset client needs to achieve agency goals. Act as a liaison; provide product/services information and resolve emerging problems that clients might face with accuracy and efficiency. The individual must be a self-starter, and a team player.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
- Route calls to specific staff members.
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
- Handle sorting, distributing, scanning, and attaching incoming mail.
- Monitor and distribute incoming faxes.
- Input information to start policy quotes.
- Complete follow-up calls and activities to current agency prospects.
- Coordinate mail flow out of the office.
- Maintain office inventory & order office supplies.
- Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
- Work on copier / printer malfunctions.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to Insurance Agent
- Create weekly pipeline reports, as required for management.
- Perform basic cash handling functions.
- Provide admin assistant support to Agency Principal and Agent.
- Organize office functions under the guidance of the Insurance Agent.
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Due to changing business conditions, management may assign additional duties or functions to this position.
- Execute any special projects assigned by the agent.
- Process and review insurance documentation and ensure all documents are complete.
- Process and take payments from customers.
- Serve as a back-up for other jobs as necessary.
- Gain in-depth and thorough understanding of insurance and P&C.
- File and maintain customer insurance files. This information is personal and confidential.
- Travel may be required.
