In the last 10 weeks, we’ve seen a weighted average WoW growth of 24.6% in members adding funds to UGLYCASH on a stablecoin model based in Rtokens by the Reserve protocol, aiming to offer global banking-like services regulated in the future crypto capital of the world, the USA.
The Position
The brand design team is seeking a talented Visual Designer to shape exciting new projects for UGLYCASH, our innovative stablecoin wallet app. Our work spans consumer-facing features, marketing campaigns, enterprise solutions, social media content, and internal initiatives.
We tell the story of UGLYCASH through a dynamic and imaginative creative process. Leveraging a versatile toolkit—including graphic design, motion graphics, video production, 3D modeling, illustration, among others — we bring bold ideas to life and craft a powerful visual identity for our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Design & Communication
- Collaborate directly with our CEO and our Design Director.
- Partner with the marketing team to create visually engaging and unique content.
- Bridge strategic concepts with tactical design execution.
- Document and effectively communicate design rationale.
- Manage cross-functional design communications.
Design Development
- Execute production-ready designs while maintaining a clear creative vision.
- Develop and manage brand design systems and libraries.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs for landing pages and platforms.
- Translate innovative ideas into bold design solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure all design work consistently reflects and strengthens our brand identity.
Collaboration
- Foster strong relationships across distributed teams.
- Ensure fast and efficient design implementation.
- Manage projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Deliver consistently high-quality work you can take pride in, as often as possible.
Experience & Skills
- 5 years of visual design experience or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in tools like Adobe CC and Figma.
- Expertise in brand design systems and agile workflows.
- Experience in fintech or finance (preferred).
- Demonstrated excellence in graphic and visual design, showcased in a portfolio—bonus points for blockchain/Web3 experience.
- Deep understanding of graphic design for social media, marketing campaigns, and OOH artwork.
- Proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and 3D is a strong advantage.
Technical Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Expertise in brand design system development.
- Solid project management skills.
Communication
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in remote settings.
- Experience articulating and defending design decisions.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

- Compensation: Competitive salary with the potential for a token grant (compensation is based on factors like experience and expertise).
- Location: Centrally located office in the Financial District, San Francisco.
