Do you enjoy driving? Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity where you can personally get involved in saving the lives of pets in Texas?
Best Friends is looking for volunteer transport drivers in your area. As a transport driver, you'll play a vital role in achieving our No-Kill 2025 goal by helping move animals from overpopulated Texas shelters to transport hubs or veterinary clinics within Texas.
These lifesaving transports enable the animals that are transported to quickly find their forever homes, ensures that overpopulated shelters have more resources to devote to the animals that need their help, and ensures animals can receive proper medical care in a timely fashion.
Transports are needed year-round and the time commitment could be 1-3 days, depending on the departure location and destination. These lifesaving transports will require driving your personal vehicle.
Transport drivers must be 21 years of age or older and successfully complete our driver approval process.
