Job Description
We are a family run nursery looking for an enthusiastic and qualified salesperson to add to our team. A successful applicant will :
- Oversee outside sales, including hard goods and plant material.
- Provide excellent customer service and offer a high degree of professional business decorum in all dealings with the Company's customers and with all operations and sales personnel.
- Assist customers with plant selection, stock quantities, sizes, substitutions, and reference information.
- Receive and respond to customer complaints while exercising discretion and judgment to resolve customer issues, working with management to achieve resolution when necessary.
- Providing hands on help with unloading trucks, tagging / maintaining products, keeping the sales yard organized and other duties.
- Monitor inventory of yard supplies and work with alerting the buyer on purchasing as necessary.
- Help plan and contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Onboard new employees including assignment of work areas / duties within the department.
