Base Salary : $110,000 to $125,000 Best-in-class benefits
Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Management : Provide strategic direction and oversight of the Emergency Department's daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to all regulatory standards.
- Patient Care Excellence : Champion a patient-centered approach, fostering a culture of compassion, safety, and continuous quality improvement within the ED.
- Team Leadership & Development : Recruit, mentor, and develop a highly skilled and motivated team of nurses and support staff. Provide ongoing training, performance evaluations, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Clinical Expertise : Maintain a strong clinical knowledge base and stay abreast of the latest advancements in emergency medicine practices and technologies. Ensure the ED team is equipped with the necessary skills to provide top-notch care.
- Resource Management : Effectively manage the department's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation. Optimize staffing levels to meet patient demand and ensure efficient operations.
- Collaboration : Foster strong relationships with physicians, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and organizational success. Act as a liaison between the ED and other areas of the hospital.
- Performance Improvement : Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. Monitor key performance indicators and implement evidence-based practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Emergency Preparedness : Ensure the ED is prepared to handle a variety of emergency situations, including mass casualty incidents and natural disasters. Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols.
