Position : Director of Nursing
Job Type : Full-Time (FTE)
Location : Vancouver-WA
Base Salary : $111,000 to $150,000 Best-in-class benefits
Key Responsibilities :
Support and promote the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care.
Supervise and mentor the nursing management team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Prepare and present monthly reports on nursing operations and patient care.
Qualifications :
Education : Must possess a postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field, or demonstrate the knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree. Alternatively, candidates must have a written plan to obtain these qualifications. Related fields may include healthcare administration or business administration.
Licensure :
Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
Certifications :
CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) are required within 30 days of employment and before any patient contact.
Preferred Experience :
Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
Expertise in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
Strong leadership experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
Skills and Certifications :
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active WA RN License
Prior Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Health experience.
Prior Inpatient Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Health leadership experience required.
