Best Driving Academy, part of BEST Logistics Group, is now hiring dynamic Part-time CDL Instructors at our BRAND NEW facility in Burlington, NC!
Part-Time Instructors will work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM .
At Best Driving Academy, our goal is to prepare our students for real-world opportunities by providing them with training in a state-of-the-art environment that utilizes technology and trainers with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver instructor that can work well in a team environment and provide constructive feedback and real-world knowledge as they prepare students to obtain their CDL. CDL
Instructors MUST be able to provide instruction in a manual transmission vehicle (no restrictions) and MUST be willing to provide classroom, yard, and over the road instruction.
Job Duties
- Provide instruction / examination to students in both a classroom and range environment.
- Maintain a safe environment from both students and instructors.
- Provide instruction in a classroom environment.
- Provide instruction / examination behind the wheel and range instruction for a Class A Tractor Trailer
- Observe, document, and provide feedback to students as necessary to improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Set up the classroom and range daily as needed.
