General Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is expected to work closely with the Director of Engineering to achieve the maintenance goals within the facility and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance technician team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for food safety
- Responsible for ensuring the Maintenance Team consistently follows all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the completion of the GMP action items that are assigned to the Maintenance Department.
- Responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
- Required to supervise and perform daily startup of all plant manufacturing equipment.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production machines.
- May be required to read/interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and services as required.
- Responsible for diagnosing problems, replacing/repairing parts, and testing/adjusting different types of plant equipment as necessary.
- Required to perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Responsible for ensuring all PMs are completed in a timely manner but no later than their assigned due date.
- Ensures daily entry of downtime and corrective actions in Plex Cloud.
- Coordinates inventory and availability of parts with the Inventory Control Clerk.
- Must be able to proficiently use various hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform assigned duties.
- Must be able to accurately detect faulty operations and defective materials to report to the Director of Engineering.
- Required to comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- All other duties as assigned or necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience in both electrical and mechanical roles is required.
- Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and be capable of working well under pressure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish preferred.
- Must be able to work in a team environment effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills. Excel, word, etc.
- Must be a forward thinker who can think outside of the box to find solutions to different issues in various situations.
- Capable of effectively troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic machines and systems.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of electrical systems and programming logic.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
