Job Summary

Essential Duties and responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive inspections of fabricated products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
· Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests to identify any defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities in the process.
· Collect and analyze data from inspections, tests, and production records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues, provide guidance on quality control procedures, and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities for documentation and reference purposes.
· Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures to enhance overall product quality.
· Monitor and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and functioning accurately.
· Conduct regular audits of the fabrication process to ensure compliance with quality control standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
· Participate in quality control training programs and workshops to stay updated with the latest techniques, technologies, and industry standards.
· Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production managers, sales, and quality assurance personnel, to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventative measures.
· Provide clear and concise reports on quality control findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in quality control or a related field is preferred.
· Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician or similar role in the fabrication industry.
· Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies.
· Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
· Proficiency in using precision measurement tools, inspection equipment, and software applications related to quality control.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
· Excellent attention to detail and meticulousness in conducting inspections and tests.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare detailed reports.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
